Usage
LFZ-UV-S is suitable for accelerated aging tests by light and water exposure to evaluate the relative durability of non-metallic materials such as paints, coatings and plastics. It is especially suitable for observing the physical properties of particularly durable materials such as gloss reduction, fading, haze, strength reduction, chalking, cracking, blistering and embrittlement. Also suitable for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.
Application in the food/pharmaceutical industry
It can meet the light stability test requirements of ICH-Q1 B new drug substance and new preparation drug: Near-ultraviolet fluorescent lamp can emit light at 320~400 nm, and has a maximum energy emission at 350~370 nm; sample should Exposure to cold white light is not less than 1.2 × 106 Lux·hr, and near ultraviolet energy is not less than 200 w·hr, so that the stability of the drug and the preparation are directly compared.
